My application is not streaming to users on the Telstra network

My company has an application called Boarbuster Camera Management.  This app allows our users to stream live footage from their wildlife cameras.  It was working fine and has been working for several years, but as of July 6th ALL of our users in Australia who use the Telstra mobile network have been unable to stream from their phones.  The application works fine while they are on local wi-fi, but as soon as they switch to mobile data they can no longer stream.  They can still authenticate and sign in to the application, it is only the streaming which does not work.  This is effecting all of our users in Australia only, and only while on the Telstra mobile network.

Was this helpful?

  • Yes it was, thank you

Does your streaming server cater for IPv6 only connections?

Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.

Set it & forget it
