Netgear NIGHTHAWK M1 Router

I have had the router working perfectly till a couple of weeks ago with the firmware update and now the service quality will drop hugely and the router requires rebooting all the time. 

Speeds drop and devices drop. 

What is the solution as this seems to be from Firmware update.
