Sierra 4G 320U - Unable to resolve DNS

I have a Sierra 4G Airbus 320U (not on prepaid) which used intermittantly for off site internet access.

I downloaded the Watcher software from Sierra onto a Toshiba laptop running Win 7 64 bit.

THe modem is picked up and the software claims connection without issue but if I try to browse or use Remote Desktop Connection to connect to a server I receive errors.

Troubleshooting appears to list an issue resolving any DNS address as the problem.

Any ideas on what may be the solution?

The device previously worked without issue in a XPPro SP3 laptop but when checked is now reports the same problem on that laptop also.

Re: Sierra 4G 320U - Unable to resolve DNS

Go in to the settings for the 320U and change the DNS Server settings to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 (Google's public DNS Servers) and see if that helps.

Write down the existing settings first of course so you can change back.

Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.
