Telstra 5G network using private IP and blocking ports

Ihave a MU500 5g router/modem.

It does not allow remote access from outside as IP address does not allow access(it can not be seen from outside) and ports appear to be blocked.

Is this standard telstra practice for mobile services.

It is a business account.
