Telstra Pre-Paid 4G My Pocket Wi-Fi Ultimate

Answered

Hi There,

I have purchased a Telstra Pre-paid My Pocket Wi-Fi ultimate and I need to connect 5 Pcs wired.

Can anyone suggest a 4G USB Modem compatible Wi-Fi Router, in order to connect those PCs.

I believe the router needs to be DD-WRT compatible in order to do that.

By the way, I check this one recommended on the Telstra forum and it is not available anymore. http://www.netcomm.com.au/netcomm-products/4g/3g41wt

Thanks in advance

Daniel

Re: Telstra Pre-Paid 4G My Pocket Wi-Fi Ultimate

I have seen this one working with a Telstra USB modem, but not with a MyPocket.

However, according to the Telstra exchange for when it was released, http://exchange.telstra.com.au/2014/06/11/first-look-at-the-telstra-pre-paid-4g-my-pocket-wi-fi-ulti... - you can use the Netgear charging and antenna cradle with it which can be obtained through Telstra as it is used on their BigPond devices. Details of it are here:

Re: Telstra Pre-Paid 4G My Pocket Wi-Fi Ultimate

Please let us know how you get on.

If you have no luck we do have cradles that will fit the My Pocket Wifi Ultimate and give it either 1 or 4 Ethernet ports depending on which model you get - Oliver
