Telstra won’t let me change data plan

I’ve tried to change my monthly data plan online but Telstra won’t let me even though its part of my agreement. It states I have already changed it this month when I haven’t as it’s my first month on the data plan. I bought the 200gb plan on 5/5, then got email from Telstra 12/5 saying they doubled my plan (as an unsolicited favour for me) from 100gb to 200gb even though I was already on 200gb. I’m wondering if this email from Telstra has tricked the system into thinking I’ve already changed my plan for the next billing period even though I haven’t & so it won’t let me change it now when I want to.
