Re: useless netgear modem
Which Netgear modem is it? Nighthawk or a desktop modem/router or something else? and that could be a firmware update message warning.
You should be able to get to the user interface of the modem by using the Gateway IP address of the modem or your connection to the modem.. from there, in a browser, you should be able to see everything you need, including messages.. you might need the user name and password to look at or change settings - it all depends on the modem and whether is is still in default settings or has been customised.
Too many devices, probably an addict :-) also a tinkerer and developer of stuff..
