can I change the mobile number on my account if i am under contract?
I had a question regarding telstra accounts. I am planning on signing up to a Telstra personal Account to get a new phone. This would require me to be on a 12 month contract.
At some point in the future, my employer may provide me with the option to port my work account mobile number. Does anyone know, if I was under contract with (say number 0400 123 456) and I was able to get get my work number (say 0404 111 111), could I replace 0400 123 456 with the 0404 111 111 on the 12 month contract
Does that make sense?

Even with a new phone, you are no longer required to be on a 12 month contact for your mobile phone service. It’s monthly now. The phone payments are spread out over an extended period, but they can be paid out (if need be).
Regarding your question, yes you will be able to change the phone number. You can do that at a Telstra Store.
