Cancelling a mobile plan

I have moved abroad and do not have a working Telstra mobile - hence, no access to the app. I want to cancel my current contract but cannot seem to find how to do so. How do I cancel my contract?

You need to contact Telstra either by calling +61 439 125 109 or by sending a message using the My Telstra app (doesn't need to be a Telstra mobile, just a smartphone) - blue icon, bottom right of Get Help screen - and if Codi redirects you, type "Speak to a consultant" and you should be transferred to the queue to chat to a human.


If you can't access either of those methods, send a message to the Telstra Facebook or Twitter accounts as they are being monitored.

Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.
