Galaxy S3 Data Not Working

I did a factory reset of my phone the other day.

 

I no longer have the 'Up and down' facing arrows symbol showing 3G is on, even when Mobile Data is enabled. 

 

I'm not sure if  this is an APN issue or something else.

OK Cromatic, a very bassic first step to see if we clear a few cobwebs here. Turn off the device, remove your sim card, then after a few minutes re-instal the sim and turn the phone back on.

 

Yep, you've heard that sort of reply before, BUT, sometimes with resets etc. the sim needs to get a new life too.

 

Also check in the phones settings that all your usual network acess boxes are ticked too.
