New Plans force you to direct debit!

Why is it the new upfront plans force you to direct debit??  I have been a customer for a long time and want to purchase a new iPad, and it seems I need to go onto 'autopay'.  What a load of rubbish!!

It was a business decision by Telstra.

 

At least they have been Upfront about it.

A pretty piss poor decision that screws over existing customers who do not want to direct debit! Good work!

Optus is looking better every day, and it's a sad thing to say after many decades. They also have not moved their 4G antennas to 2nd best spots on the pole as Telstra have done on many installations when giving 5G prime position (due to the higher the frequency, the shorter the signal travels).

With direct debit there’s no need to give paying your bill another thought.

Avoid queuing up and never worry about late fees again.
