Like many other Australians I have an unanticipated stay oversea. I have had the same Telstra prepaid plan for more than 10 years and when overseas primarily use the phone for SMS and confirming bank transfers to my bankcard, particularly at the moment. I have been happy with the sevice until late October when Telstra abruptly cancelled overseas call on plan. In my opinion an appaling act on all customers on this plan overseas. Yes, Telstra have offered up alternatives, but of course not unsurprisingly at a significantly higher cost.
