Can anyone suggest a number or a way to actually speak to someone from telstra about an existing plan? I am going around in circles with the automated chat line responses. So frustrating.

You can go in to a Telstra store and they can run through your plan with you.
You could try calling 132200 (but highly unlikely to get through).
With chat, type "Speak to a consultant" and you should be transferred to the queue to chat with a human.
Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.
