Plan change

I have been notified that my present phone plan is being discontinued, however the one that I will be automatically moved to has only half the features and will cost twice as much if I have to access any of the capabilities eg $240 to fix on my old plan $140. Feeling ripped off. Considering I still have 12 months on my present contract.

That sounds like you are being moved from "Stay Connected" to "Upgrade and Protect". They are not phone plans, they are extras to your phone plan (ie "insurance policies" of sorts). They do not have a fixed contract term and you can cancel them independently of you phone plan if you want (which means you would have to pay 100% of any repair costs if your phone need to be repaired).

Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.

Set it & forget it

With direct debit there’s no need to give paying your bill another thought.

Avoid queuing up and never worry about late fees again.
