Plan change
My mobile plan has ended and hoping to find a plan/prepaid option which is less, to help save some $$
How do I go about downgrading my plan whilst keeping my existing number?
Thanks

Re: Plan change
Hi ecc,
It will pay you to compare the current Post Paid BYO month-to-month plans with the Pre-Paid Complete plan and see which one best suits your needs.
The below link is for Post Paid.

The below link is for the Pre-Paid Complete

I personally would visit a Telstra store (if you're able to during COVID-19).
They'll be able to put you onto a new plan whether it's Post Paid or Pre-Paid.
You'll need to tell them that you want to keep the same number you have now.
You'll be able to keep using the same SIM you are currently using.
If you can't get to a Telstra store you could send a message via the My Telstra App on your mobile phone (blue icon in the Get Help section, bottom right of the screen).
If Codi the bot replies with an irrelevant response type "I want to speak to a consultant".
You'll be placed in a queue for a Telstra Employee to reply to your message.
It could take hours for the initial reply...you'll get a notification on your mobile phone when they reply.
They'll be able to set you up on a new Post Paid or Pre-Paid plan.
Have a read of the below link.
It does say you can ring 132200, but you will probably have trouble getting through.
