Recontracting and a credit check

Hi there 

just wondering what is the current procedure with recontracting & credit checkinv? I’ve got two devices on a plan with Telstra atm. One is a lease plan and the device has dropped and broke. Normally after paying $190 I would be signed up for a new contract and I would get a new device. I’ve been reading a lot in here about people being declined tho so just wondering will I be externally credit checked again? Or is it just some sort of an internal check as I’ve been with Telstra over 3 years now?

Set it & forget it

With direct debit there’s no need to give paying your bill another thought.

Avoid queuing up and never worry about late fees again.

Setup direct debit
