Retaining number

I am going overseas. I would like to cancel my monthly subscription. But would want to retain my number. What's best thing to do?

The most economical way would be to switch to a Prepaid plan with either a 6 or 12 month expiry. You won't be able to use it overseas at the moment, but it would retain your number. 

Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.
