Telstra staff connect plan

Hi I have 12 months left on my staff connect plan and i want to start a new contract with a new phone. I also want to keep my existing phone

this is a public forum so you will be unlikely to get the most accurate response via these forums and are better of checking your intranet and internal reference information to follow up on the exact process and policy however the staff connect plans were only a casual plan so one would expect you would only need to pay out the remaining DPC on the device.

As DrQwerty has mentioned above; As this is a Community forum, we are unable to advise of any account related information via. CrowdSupport, however, if you are looking to renew your Staff Connect Plan, this is generally initiated through links found on Telstra's Intranet.

Alternatively, you can attempt to contact us through LiveChat (http://tel.st/hsc3) where we can potentially assist you further with renewing the plan.

In saying this, if you are mid-way through the term of the contract, you may be subject to any outstanding repayments or early termination fees associated with the existing handset.

Hi i have a staff connect plan, and a $30 cap plan, they are under different billing account number, can i consolicate these account numbers and share data between the services?

 

If I consolidate these numbers, once i add data packs, do i still received normal 25% staff account level discount?

Hi JR12, if you have an account which is receiving a staff discount then any services you have transferred to the same account will also receive the staff discount. You can move the cap plan mobile to the staff account as long as they're both on the same billing platform (i.e. as long as they both currently have a 10-digit account number or both have a 13-digit account number, not one of each).
