Unable to speak to anyone in customer support. It's pathetic!!

Is anyone else having trouble speaking to someone at Telstra on the phone? I constantly get referred to "a much better experience" (i.e. the website or app) instead of getting through to a human being.

When I finally got to speak to someone and told them about my experience, he did not care at all. 

I asked for a smaller plan or a better deal but he could not give me that, so I told him I would seek my business elsewhere. He promptly hung up on me without uttering another word! How rude is that??

 

It is just not good enough. Bye Telstra!!
