Upgrading my phone

I entered a plan with a older prepaid iphone recently, but this phone is playing up so I just want to upgrade my phone and stay on the same plan. Would I have to pay out the new phone or just the 50$ early upgrade fee?

Thank you Smiley Happy

Re: Upgrading my phone

Hi Mikstar01

It's not possible to stay on the same plan, and just get a new contract for your phone sorry.

So you'd need to upgrade to the latest plans to take up a new phone, and you'd need to pay the Early Recontracting Fee, pay out the handset, and pay out the current contract to be able to upgrade to a newer handset.

In regards to your handset not working, you can take it into any Telstra Store, or Apple Store to be checked out, ensuring that you back it up first
