Using a mobile tablet plan on my phone

I have dual sim phone and want to use one sim purely for data.  Can I use a tablet prepaid sim plan?

It should work, but if you know someone with a prepaid data SIM, I'd be tempted to try it first before buying..

It should work but you will not be able to make phone calls or send txt  using the data SIM. Cost wise is you are using a prepaid SIM you get more data for dollar with a prepaid phone SIM compared to a data SIM.

According to the below link you can use a Pre-Paid Data SIM in a mobile phone.

I have a Pre-Paid Data SIM and it worked in a mobile phone about 3 year's ago....this was the last time I used it in a mobile phone.

You might want to compare the Pre-Paid mobile broadband plan to the Pre-Paid mobile phone plan and decide which is best value Data wise for your needs.
