2.4 or 5hz wifi
I am connecting our solar panel router to the home internet and it would not connect. The solar panel provider has advised that our internet must be set to 2.4hz. How will I know if my internet is on 2.4hz or how do I set the internet to 2.4hz??

Re: 2.4 or 5hz wifi
You need to disable band steering in the modem. This will result in 5G being added to the rnd of the normal SSID on the 5 GHz WiFi band. To connect to 2.4 GHz WiFi connect devices to normal SSID. With band steering disabled device that are dual band will have to configure for both SSIDs if you still want them to connect to the 5 GHz WiFi.
To disable band steering open a Web browser on a device connected to modem and go to http://192.168.0.1 (Log in ID is admin / Telstra). Remove tick next to band steering in the 2,4 GHz WiFi settings and save settings.
