Arlo Base Station not connecting to Smart Modem 2 LH1000

Hello Masters, I have tried and tried to connect my Arlo Base Station to my Telstra Gen 2 modem LH1000 but after calling Arlo they have referred me to Telstra. I've come across this forum and would like to know if anyone can help me connect to teh base station. Ive read that i need to open a port, but have tried in teh settings and cant find where i do that either.

 My Arlo cameras were working perfectly before NBN with teh old technicolor modem, but since the change it won't pick up through the LAN ports.

Any help would be really appreciated.

When you log into your telstra LH1000 router select

Advanced Settings-> Local Network

Then apply a static lease to your Arlo.

Select

Advanced Settings-> Firewall

Then select tab for “Port forwarding”

And setup your open port for your cameras.

Hi Marty, I've got similar issues. Major dropouts and loss of speed/service, but when disconnecting the Arlo, BOOM, service back to where it should be.

I have a Telstra Smart Modem 2,  tried going into ADVANCED/FIREWALL but get the dialogue box below. Not sure how to find relevant bits to follow your instructions above to apply a static lease. Would be grateful for your guidance? Thank you.

My modem is an Arcadyan LH1000 you may have the DJA0230 modem. Try this from cf4 unofficial modem manual.
