Bigpond Elite 3G Gift, using it with SIM from 4G WiFi Dongle - No Internet
Received this 3G Bigpond Elite "Network Gateway" from a friend, put in my 4G SIM card and managed to get Wifi, but no Internet. It is asking me for the Username and Password of my friend, but he had too many to remember. The modem gives me the admin IP address and admin/admin passwords, but I suspect his password is missing there somewhere and may be the problem?
Internet access is missing, help! Is there a 3G/4G mismatch?

Your friend has probably changed the default password. There is reset button on the back of the modem between the LAN ports and the power jack. Press for at least 10 seconds while modem is powered on to reset all settings to factory default. You should then be able to log into modem. When you log in you will need to change APN settings from telstra.bigpond to telstra.internet for your 4G SIM to work. There is a manual at link below.
