'Brilliant Smart' light globe won't connect.
As per the instructions of the globe, I have switched my modem over to 2.4Ghz and also taken down the firewall. The globe however will not connect. I figured it may have been a problem with the globe but I just tested it at my friends house (who has a different plan and modem, not with telstra) and it works perfectly. Any ideas as to why?

Try turning off Protected Management Frames in the modem's advanced WiFi settings. PMF causes problems with some devices.
