Re: business smart modem nbn - login page has yellow banner

Hi - I have occasionally have had the yellow banner present itself on boot up and then it is overlayed with the blue Telstra Business Smart Modem banner. Firmware versions prior to V2.2.2.28 displayed Telstra Gateway Pro. The last firmware I am aware of was V2.2.2.32.

Have you power reset or factory reset the modem to see if it boots up eventually without the yellow banner?

Are you saying when you select the 'Continue" button, nothing happens? Is the modem performing all other duties with no visible faults?

Your picture shows a Continue button - has that disappeared now? Also did you Factory Reset with a paperclip into the small hole near the power button for more than 10 seconds with modem power ON.

This problem could be caused by Java script being blocked in the browser.

If using edge check that Java script is allowed at Settings > Cookies and Permissions > Java Script.

You could try.

Browsing to C:\Windows. Hold the shift key and right clicking on the SysWoW64 folder.

Select Open Command prompt or PowerShell here.

Type the following commands then reboot

regsvr32 vbscript.dll

regsvr32 jscript.dll

Hi - the mobile that enables you to log-in without issues, is it an iPhone using Safari web browser - does using Safari on the Mac let you log-in properly.

Have you installed any add blocking or antivirus software on the MAC?

Has there been a recent update on the MAC?

Re: business smart modem nbn - login page has yellow banner

Hi - have you reported this as a fault to Telstra so that they make a call on replacing your modem. Accessing the Admin software is a core feature of the modem, especially in a Business application,  even if can surf the Internet and other features work. It behaves as if the firmware has become semi corrupted but mystifying how the iPhone can link without problems. You have conducted the usual remedial actions without any improvements. I connected my test set up this afternoon before and after an upgrade to the Mac OS with same successful outcome using the 2.4 Ghz Wi-Fi band.

V7610 - Firmware V 2.2.2.32 with faulty 5 Ghz Wi-Fi Band

Before Update : Mini Mac 2012 - Big Sur Software 11.5.1 and Safari 16611.3.10.1.3 and iPhone 8+ iOS 14.7.1 and Safari same 14.7.1.

After Update: Big Sur Software 11.5.2 and Safari 16611.3.10.1.6

I have no Extensions loaded in Safari. Is your Mac connecting with Ethernet or Wi-Fi to the V7610?

Re: business smart modem nbn - login page has yellow banner

Have you tried both http://192.168.15.1 and https://192.168.15.1?

Edit

Also try adding gateway's login page to trusted websites. (192.168.15.1)
