Cable Activation

After a frustrating few days, I finally got a new Telstra Cable Adaptor. I called to register the MAC number and was told that there is no support and I have to wait till Monday for cable activation! Does anyone know of a solution here? Why is the activation not automated? I have tried to plug and unplug and restart everything with no joy!

try setting it all up and then going to:

register.bigpond.com/cable.do or

http://144.135.132.41

 

It should take you to a page where you can enter your bigpond internet credentials to register the adapter. If that doesn't work then it will need to be manually done by the activations team
