Can no longer access Gateway 10.0.0.138 - sign in required.

Answered

I have always in the past been able to access my Telstra Gateway 10.0.0.138 without the need to login and enter a user name and password.

Now for some unknown reason when I try to access the Gateway I am met with a Sign In screen asking for a user name and password and when I enter my Telstra account user name and password I get an Invalid UserName or Password message. The same applies if I enter my e-mail user name and password and these are the only ones I use.

How can I access the Gateway? I have turned off and on my modem several time and also my PC all to no avail.

The modem wants its login details, not any of your Telstra account details. Try:

admin/admin

admin/password

admin/"blank"

if none of those work, you will probably have to factory reset the modem

And you should change it from that default password to something else!!!
