Connecting to workgroup
Hi,
I'm trying to share file between my home computers (one is WIFI, the other LAN) but I can't connect the LAN based one, error code 0x80070035.
I am also prevented from creating or joining a workgroup. It tels me that my network connection must have IPv6 enabled. How can I enable this setting?
Both computers run windows 7
Thanks

Re: Connecting to workgroup
Hi,
I have this setup at home and it works for me.
Could be a couple of things:
1. The firewall on both devices may be blocking the workgroup. I suggest turning the firewall off on both devices and trying again.
2. The router config could be preventing this communcation between devices. What sort brand / model of router do you have?
I am pretty sure IPV6 is not the root cause and I would not suggest upgrading.
Regards,
Chris
