Content Sharing Issues

Answered

Hi,

Just got connected to the NBN with a Smart Modem Gen 2.

I inserted a USB disk & enabled the Content Sharing on the Modem/Router.

I then go to Windows 10 Explorer and can see the drive there.

I can see files on the disk. I can copy and paste back to my local PC. No problems there at all.

The problem is when the USB is plugged into the Smart Modem Gen 2 the drive is "Read Only" I cannot add content to it.

If I want to add content to share I have to eject it through the browser interface and then connect the USB drive to my PC directly and then re-connect it to the Smart Modem Gen 2.

This is a real pain in butt to do. Is there a way to remove the "Read Only" access so I can add content to share whilst it is still plugged into the Smart Modem Gen 2

Many thanks in advance for any help
