Re: How do I put Telstra gateway into bridge mode
What is the model of the gateway? You might be using the wrong IP address.
To find the correct IP address, click on start, start typing CMD and when command prompt appears select it. Type ipconfig and press enter.
Look for the Ethernet adapter and then look for "Default Gateway". In the example below 192.168.178.1 is the address of the gateway.
Ethernet adapter Ethernet:
Connection-specific DNS Suffix . : gateway
IPv6 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 2001:xxxxxxxx
Temporary IPv6 Address. . . . . . : 2001:xxxxxxx
Link-local IPv6 Address . . . . . : fe80xxxxxxxxxx
IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.178.171
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : fe80::xxxxxxxxx
192.168.178.1
If the gateway is already in bridge mode you will not be able to log into it before factory resetting.
