How to replace Telstra NBN router with a TP link AX6000 router.
Would like to replace an old Telstra Technicolor router with a new TP link AX6000 router. If possible, what changes to the configuration would I have to make to set it up as FTTP.? Thx

You won't be able to use the home phone, but other than that, it should be a simple as plugging it in and running the setup routine for the router. To make life easier for yourself, if you set the wifi up so that it has the same SSID and password that your old wifi had, then you won't need to set up all your devices again.
Set the WAN port to Automatic IP.

Re: How to replace Telstra NBN router with a TP link AX6000 router.
The Telstra Smart modem can be replaced with TP Link. Log in and go to (Basic > Internet)
Auto Detect
Internet Connection Type Dynamic IP
Do Not Clone MAC address
Primary DNS and secondary DNS can be left blank.
Go To Advanced > Internet
Enable IPv6
Internet Connection Type Dynamic IP
If you require a phone service you can connect the Telstra modem to a LAN port of the TP Link modem. If you have to a Telstra Smart modem you will need to change the LAN IP address of either the smart modem or the TP Link (See manual page 66) so that they don't both use same subset (192.168.0.xx).
You might also have also have to Enable SIP ALG for phone to work
Advanced > Security > NAT Forwarding > ALG > Enable SIP ALG
