So I have been wanting to port forward a Minecraft server. I watched videos on how to do it on the Telstra portal but I can never seem to find one that is new enough to match my modem. I chose "game" for the application but it doesn't show Minecraft as an option, what do I do?

Enter the ports in manually. This document shows what ports to port forward.
See section 9 of documents attached to these posts for how to port forward a non standard or custom port.

Instead of selecting game select server and leave application name on select server. Then enter the a name, select protocol, enter WAN port, enter LAN port, enter IP address of device and click on add. Repeat for all ports to be port forwarded. When all ports entered click on save.
Have you forwarded the other two ports UDP: 19132 and 19133?
Are the ports shown as open at a port checking site such as canyouseeme
