Modem not holding connection

Answered

We have a Telstra mode (Technicolor DJA0230TLS).

Since yesterday it is not holding wifi connections. Phones and ipads drop connection once going to sleep mode and struggle to pick up again afterwards often asking to re-enter password then claiming password is incorrect when entered. I have reset to factory default and rebuilt but the issues are persisting today.

No changes were made to the modem otherwise on my end which makes me suspect a recent firmware upgrade has caused the issue.

How can I fix this as it is making working from home close to impossible the last two days.

Re: Modem not holding connection

A recent firmware update added a new WiFi security feature called Protected Management Frames (PMF) and enabled PMF by default. You could try disabling PMF in the advanced > WiFi settings for both bands.
