NAS connection to Technicolor DJA0230TLS

Hi I have just switched to the Technicolor DJA0230TLS from an old modem. I had have a Seagate Personal Cloud attached via ethernet which use to be visible through the network and File Explorer. Since changing the modem I cannot see or connect to the NAS. All I can see is the modem picking up the NAS with a MAC address but no IP address. How can I connect it? I have tried various resets on both the modem and the NAS but to no avail. Cheers

Was this helpful?

Re: NAS connection to Technicolor DJA0230TLS

If the modem is connecting to NAS and you can see its MAC address but it does not have an IP address this could be due to fixed IP address being set in the NAS which is not within the address range of the Smart Modem.

You could try assigning a reserved IP address to the device in the GUI of smart modem. See section 8 of this document for how to reserve an IP address in Telstra Smart Modem.
