Netgear cg3100

Hi All

I have a CG3100. Big storm inMelbourne lst night. Since the storm, no wired connections are possibe. Wirless OK, Internet OK, Wired reports back to PC that "Network Cable is unplugged". I have tried 4 different cables and 3 pcs, all have the same result. I have powered off and on the Modem several times.

Any ideas on what to do to get it working ?

Assuming its fried, how long is the warranty for the moems that come from Telstra when you sign up for a 24 month contract ?

Thanks

Re: Netgear cg3100

Check the service status first

Are all four yellow modem lights on and steady?

If you have only two yellow lights on with one blinking you have no connection.

If the four yellow lights are on do a full reset by placing the tip of a paper clip into the reset hole on the side of the modem whilst it is on..

Re: Netgear cg3100

I suggest you contact Bigpond support on 133 933, as what you are saying seems awfully strange.

I think the warranty is 12 months but don't quote me on it
