Netgear CG3100D-2 Cable Upload Speed

I have a cable subscription with a speed boos that costs a lot every month and my upload speed is crap. I could probaly walk there in a quicker time why is this?

Because Telstra Cable has a maximum upload of 2, the top speed is 100/2, some people do get speeds up to about 110/2.5Mbps but 2Mbps is the max advertised speed. If you are getting under 1Mbps it could be something else going on but you should get about 2Mbps with the speedboost on it.

I thought the max was 2.4.

 

My best when connected via Ethernet cable is 115 / 2.4 but the d/l average is probably about 108 whereas u/l seems to be consistenly 2.4

Got 120.6 d/l in a speedtest.net test last night when connecting to Internode server.
