Printer won't connect after NBN install on Macintosh computer

I have installed the new NBN modem sent in the last month.  Now my wireless brother printer will not work.  Everything else works.  I have an Imac computer.  I see previous responses for windows.  Can anyone help with imac?

Have you reconnected the brother to you new modems wireless network?

yes I have reconnected it to the new wireless.  the printer then prints a confirmation stating connection ok.  Yet the computer says the printer is offline and I can't print

@Jimjams

just wondering if you know if the printer and Imac are on the same wi-fi frequency?

2.4Ghz or 5Ghz

you may have to re-go through the Imac printer set-up to see it again, but im not sure sorry.

Yes printer and computer on same frequency.

Printer only comes up with one option.

Re: Printer won't connect after NBN install on Macintosh computer

Have you made sure that the firmware on the printer and drivers on your Mac are up to date?

If both the Mac and printer are connected to the 2.4 Ghz Wi-Fi network, have you tried connecting your Mac to the modem via Ethernet to help rule out the Wi-Fi component?

Apart from that, have you tried restarting your Mac, the modem and printer?

If you still need further assistance with this, can you please confirm the model of your modem and the firmware version that it is currently running?
