Router login my gateway

Answered

I had a PC crash due to Windows 10 and lost my details for logging into the Neatgear Cable Modem/Router.

Is there a way of finding out the old details or do I have to reset the router?

If so what will I lose in this process?

Re: Router login my gateway

On a Cable Gateway Max
(C6300BD):
http://192.168.0.1/ > Advanced > Broadband Connection > Connection Settings

On a Cable Adapter
(CM450):
http://192.168.100.1/ > Broadband Connection > Connection Settings

Default Username/password: admin/password
Alteratively if the password was changed, you'll need to factory reset the modem by holding down the reset button on the back for 10 seconds. The the above password/s should work
I work for Telstra, but my opinions are my own and not that of Telstras

Re: Router login my gateway

I have found the login info by copy and pasting the old login file from Google to the default folder and this gave me the password details.

What I am after now is to find how I can update my system time and date so it matches my timezone as it is out by 10 hours.

This is my gateway max on the netgear router from Telstra.
