Smart modem back up mode

Hi all my modem went into backup mode after a power outage, I’ve reset it and nothing changes, I’ve rang Telstra and they ask for a Account number but we don’t know it, the bill is direct deposited out of our account, there is no record of us in there system but we got the  nbn so wtf.

Support should be able to use your phone number to locate the account number. Did you supply your Telstra fixed line phone number?
