Smart modem gen 2 LH1000 access point -- disable login prompt?

I have a LH1000 that I've set up as an access point (set subnet IPv4 address, disable DHCP and IPv6, ethernet LAN to main router). It works, however it does not understand that it is an access point and often asks for login credentials with a popup Telstra login, which can confuse some WiFi clients -- the same problem was described here:

A solution suggested at the above link is to set the LH1000 in bridge mode. However, that disables the DLNA server, which I would like to use. Does anyone know how to disable the login popup, without resorting to bridge mode?

Was this helpful?

  • Yes it was, thank you
  • No, I still need help

Hi - does Clearing Data Cache and Cookies on the PC's web browser remove the log-in screen from popping up?

Telstra Smart Modem

Plug in and connect in minutes. Smart.
