Hi
In the last two weeks I'm experiencing constant dropouts from devices connected via wifi to my Telstra Gateway Frontier/Technicolor modem/router DJN2130. I'm on Telstra NBN 100/40 Plan via HFC. The Router FW Version: 16.3.7413. I've setup the router to my own LAN configuration.
On new Asus smartphones less than 6 months old, running Android 7, the wfi connection icon varies erratically from 5 bars to zero bars, whilst in close proximity to the router.
I've checked my router and all appears to be OK.
According to another post, moderator Kenobi, there MIGHT be a FW upgrade, but to find out I'll have to do a factory reset and wait up to 48 hours for the push to happen, or not. Meanwhile, the factory settings make my LAN unworkable. Added to the major pain in the neck that there is no feature to save a config file. Surely, there has to be a better technology than this, in this day and age? And I've had to pay a premium price of around $300 to Telstra for this modem when my NBN was installed 6 months ago.
Can anybody give me a headsup as to the latest/most current FW for this router?
cheers

Re: Telstra Gateway Frontier - DJN2130 what is latest firmware?
Thanks Yastlandrie.
Given that my FW is up to date, it looks more and more like my router has gone flaky. I've have to steel myself for the angst of going to my local Telstra shop to get a replacement

Re: Telstra Gateway Frontier - DJN2130 what is latest firmware?
Hi there, we are having the exact same issue with identical router on multiple wireless clients as well. Did you have joy swapping the router out at Telstra shop? And if so, has the new hardware solved your problem?
Cheers
