Telstra Gateway Max C6300BD GMT to Local time setting

Hello,

I am having problems setting up my Parental controls for time of day access.  It appears the problem might be that the system time is set for GMT instead of local time.  How can I change the system time on this router?

Was this helpful?

  • Yes it was, thank you
  • No, I still need help

As far as I am aware you can't change the C6300BD gateway system time to show a local time zone. It is fixed as GMT.

Yeh, Cable modems in general cannot have their time changed

Re: Telstra Gateway Max C6300BD GMT to Local time setting

Seriously - Telstra sent a device out to the average family user, spruiking it's benefits and urging us to take advantage, and then can't even organise to provide a device that knows we live in Australia?? Outrageous !

So we all have to do mental gymnastics with the times we want our kids to be on and off the internet, adding and subtracting around GMT, work that out for each kid and the remember to go in and change the settings twice a year when Daylight Savings starts and finishes...

Telstra - you seriously go not get it do you - where is the customer centricity in all of this?
