telstra gen 2 wifi booster

Just a quick question, i have purchased a gen 2 wifi booster connected and paired no probs ..solid blue light on booster i assume this is paired.Is this all that needs to be done ? Do i have to change any of my connection settings or do i continue to connect to the internet exactly like i was

The booster creates a mesh network with your Gen 2 smart modem. On your phone you'll only seen the Wi-Fi networks your modem broadcasts as your boster mirrors them and tells your devices which one to connect to. Alternatively you can use a Wi-Fi analyswr app to see the Wi-Fi networks have the same name but different MAC addresess. One being thr boosters, the other being the modems.

That's pretty much it if you're using a Gen 2 modem.

 

If you log into the modem, the WiFi booster tab should now be populated with the details of the connected booster and you can make some basic changes but it's not necessary

Only reason I ask is I can't see the booster in my available wifi networks all I can see is the gen 2 smart modem but the booster is paired ok.so do I just connect to the modem or do I have to do something else
