Got NBN last week , with Telstra Smart Modem/Router
When I transfer large files from a Laptop connected via WIFI to Network Drive (Ethernet connected NAS Drive)
It starts transferring (couple of seconds at 45MB/s ) then stalls a few seconds
then I get this error message 0x8003003B - An unexpected error occurred
Smaller files work perfectly fine.
The Smart Modem Firewall is Normal -
Windows 10 - connected to private network firewall
If I connect the laptop with an Ethernet cable it works
It's appears to be a setting with the WIFI data transfer in the router is limited to a certain size .
My other telstra router worked fine before with no issues
Anyone out there have the same issue ?
Any suggestions ?

What version of the Smart Modem do you have Arcadyan LH1000 or Technicolor DJA0231?
You problem might be due SMB being blocked by the Modem's Firewall. See this post. The modem only blocks SMB after a few packets have been detected which could explain why small files transfer works and large file transfer results in an error. You could prove that your problem is due to SMB being blocked by temporarily turning off the firewall.
