Telstra Smart Modem Gen 2 (technicolor) - FTTN Transition - Connection problems

Just received Telstra Smart Modem Gen 2 (technicolor) to connect to NBN. Able to connect all appliances except for the HP Laptop and PlayStation. They do not even show the new NBN as an available network to contact to. By using a Ethernet cable direct from laptop to modem I can then get NBN. From what I have been reading could this be a 2.4G error in the modem?? Or something else??

Was this helpful?

  • Yes it was, thank you
  • No, I still need help

There is a similar thread with testing that you can perform to diagnose the 2.4GHz WiFi.
