Useage of Telstra Gateway modem without computer connection
Hi, i have a Telstra Gateway Modem. I have been using it successfully for the last couple of years. I am currently rearranging my home and wondering if i can move the modem to another phone line in the house away from the PC. I don't use the PC much and mostly rely on my laptop and mobile, so it won't be a big disadvantage not to be able to use the internet on the PC.
Is this achievable or do i need the modem connected to the PC in order to get wi-fi for the laptop and mobiles. Sorry if this is a silly question, I don't have any idea about the complexities of this stuff.

Re: Useage of Telstra Gateway modem without computer connection
Your other devices will still be able to connect to internet when PC is disconnected and modem is shifted providing the other phone port is not faulty.
