Where can I get a 10m DSL cable?

Answered

Hi we've just moved into a new unit and the data port in the wall is not near where I would like the Smart Modem to go. We have NBN FTTB and the grey DSL cable we were given by Telstra is very short. Where can I get a 10m version of that cable? Also, what is the correct name for that cable? I know it's straight through as opposed to crossover, but I don't think it is Cat 5 or 6 with RJ45 plugs as they look smaller. Thanks in advance

Re: Where can I get a 10m DSL cable?

The cable is a normal telephone cable with RJ11/12 plugs. You can get these cables from office works, electronic and some hardware stores. Try and get one as close to the length that you require as the cable should be completely uncoiled.
