Disconnect

I rang up Telstra yesterday to have my landline disconnected and the operator said it would be done with in a couple of hours. Seems the land line is still operational. Has anyone else had this issue? I'm thinking of just leaving it and well the next bill comes I'll dispute it as there will be a recording of my request to disconnect!

It's classified as soft dial tone. One way too check is to dial up your/a friends mobile. You should get a prerecoreded message.  Btw you can still diall emergency services I.e. 000 so don't try that Smiley Wink
