Hi,
My home internet contract is about to end next week, and as I’ve just moved out of the house and to somewhere already on a contract I don’t need to renew. How do I end my contract or does that happen automatically? And do u need to return items like the nbn box and modem? I can’t find any information on the Telstra website and can’t get help over the phone.

Hi @Marjolein
The modem is charged at $9 per month over 24 months if you leave early (They don't accept returns). So if you got the modem at the start of your contract you will not owe anything and get to keep it. You can, therefore, use it as a spare.
But yes, you do need to cancel your connection.
If you want to chase it up you can via the My Telstra app, use the "Get Help" icon at the bottom of the screen and leave a message. That will go in a queue and be answered as soon as they can.

Re: End of contract on home internet
You will need to cancel it as the plan will continue but you will no longer be on a contract.
